It was supposed to be about the pictures

I've been on a pretty serious salt diet the last few months (much to Nicks annoyance), but today we have a treat. One of the saltiest people on the planet got in touch to tell me about a pretty shitty trails incident that happened this weekend. I wont bore you any longer, so over to our guest writer, Sam Bryant.

"A little respect in bmx would go a long way. I have now come to understand this so much more these past few months since i started to help dig at our local trails spot. seen here. With amazing friends of mine and a whole new breed of locals and new riders, the scene hasn't been so alive or fast growing in a very long time, the trails have been a huge part of that as well as a great place to be ride and hang out with my friends. That is, untill the weekend when without notice a few problems suddenly occurred. The problems started when some people that do not help out at our jumps and are generally not welcome turned up without so much as a phone call (even though most of these trespassers have my mobile number) and with a serious lack of respect. I now finally understand why the trails scene can come across as being the saltiest scene in BMX. So if you're planning a little trip into the woods to ride someone else's hard work just give the locals a little help, like water the jumps for them or even just ask if they need anything doing, even if its wiping there arses. Think of it this way, how many years have some of these trails spots been there for and how much hard work and winter digging sessions have gone into what you want to ride?
The next time you roll up somewhere just think about that.

Thanks, Sam Bryant"

Sam at home in the woods

So, there it is, Sam's rant, I guess if you're thinking about heading down the woods this weekend, spare a thought for the builders and if you haven't even lifted a shovel there, give it a go, you might like it. Or just wipe someone's arse?!!

It's all down hill from here boys. Sweet day at the trails yesterday. I made it through the main line for the first time ever, though to put that in perspective a 14 year old Ben's only 2 jumps from the end. Here's a couple of Rosshead and Dye over the yip.

How can you call it street when it's on a Tennis/Basketball court?
Peeps show's us his stuff on the fence, while Bert mans up and sends himself down a rail that Greg, who used to update this site, will say doesn't count. Bah.

Went for my weekly beating at Epsom today, one more than last time, and I didn't even get wet. Bonus.
Cong's took it a couple of times this weekend, didn't stop him pulling this text book toboggan. Bosh.

Timmy, Peeps, Arron and others have built some trails 5 minutes from my house. Not looking too hot for their survival at the moment, so had a quick ride and got some shots.
