WHY THEM? They feel good on the pedal are synthetic and are pleasing on the eye...I get into a shoe and keep with em for as long as i can.

HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT NIKE IN BMX? I haven't really been paying much attention to it,Other than them horrible cartoon ads they were doing but what i do have is a little inside story for ya, one of the nike flow riders was asked to send monthly updates about what they have been doing to promote nike, what coverage they have gotten and how they have been promoting nike each month,Bare in mind this was just a flow rider(Someone who just gets a few pairs of free shoes per month). Obviously who ever asked for all that info off any rider let alone a flow rider doesn't know BMX at all.

HOW DO YOU FEEL ETHICALLY ABOUT NIKE? Same as any other corporation,Sucks but thats the way the world is set up at the minute.

DO YOU BELIEVE THERE IS A PLACE FOR MULTI NATIONAL BILLION DOLLAR COMPANIES IN BMX? Yes and no. Depends where you want to stand on this one?

(if so) WHY? I think big co's like Nike could do good things for BMX in general -Pay for some facility's for people to ride,Put on good events,Get a good bunch of dudes on the team,Go on trips all the usual shit but on a bigger scale. The way i think they should do it is use BMX as not as a market to sell to but to sell to the main stream through having some BMX riders on the team-try not to take sales directly away from BMX co's but sell to the average dudes who aren't buying there air bubble rude boy shoes but wants to be a bit skate/bmx alternative type. I think its safe to say Redbull are pretty good at this type of thing.

(if not) WHY? In a perfect world i think we would all be small independent companies,Grass roots good co's that have a love of riding and all that goes with it. If Nike are not doing anything but trying to get sales from another market then thats not doing good for anyone,but i cant see why they would do that seeing as the BMX market to Nike is nothing to even bother with I'm sure they would know that?

WHAT COULD NIKE AND COMPANIES DO TO MAKE YOU BUY THEM? Absolutely nothing,i associate Nike with everything that i am not-townie,sportswear,wannabe ghetto kids and tracky wearer's.

ANY LAST WORDS YOU WANT PEOPLE TO HEAR ON THE SUBJECT? It don't matter really, make your own mind up. There's bigger things to worry about, I do think its cool that people are questioning this stuff though. A good bit of healthy thought is a plus.
